DR. ANA BARATTA
Licensed Trauma Therapist for women experiencing anxiety, people pleasing, infertility, and early pregnancy loss in Cincinnati, Ohio.
I am Dr. Ana Baratta, a bilingual therapist helping women in Ohio, Indiana, Florida, and Puerto Rico move through anxiety, people-pleasing, trauma, infertility, and pregnancy loss. I adapt the therapy process to your needs—because healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. With over 27 years of clinical and educational experience across El Salvador and the United States, I bring both cultural humility and clinical depth to our work. I understand how family expectations, faith, and identity can shape the way women carry responsibility — and how hard it can be to untangle that alone.
Think of therapy with me like this: you’re in the driver’s seat—you’re the expert in your life. I’m in the passenger seat, guiding you with evidence-based tools, helping you slow down, make sense of patterns, and move forward in a way that feels grounded. I’ll always prioritize safety and pace, and I’ll also challenge you when it’s needed—especially around people-pleasing, avoidance, or stuck cycles.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
Therapy with me is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I work with many women who are used to being the strong one for everyone else—but who feel anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from themselves.
My approach is trauma-informed, practical, and compassionate. We move at your pace while also helping you make meaningful progress. I create a space where you can be honest, feel supported, and begin to understand the patterns that may have helped you survive—but are no longer helping you live the way you want.
Depending on your needs, I may integrate talk therapy, EMDR, and evidence-based tools to help you process difficult experiences, regulate emotions, strengthen boundaries, and build self-trust.
I offer therapy in English and Spanish and strive to provide culturally sensitive, respectful, and tailored care that aligns with your goals. If faith is important to you, it can be part of the work in ways that feel supportive and aligned with your values.
You do not have to have everything figured out before starting. We begin where you are—and work forward together.
All sessions are conducted virtually through a HIPAA-compliant platform for women located in Ohio, Indiana, Florida, and Puerto Rico.
More about me…
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a wife and mother of two adolescents, which means I understand both the beauty and the complexity of watching your children grow into who they are becoming.
I value deep conversations, quiet moments, and the kind of presence that allows people to feel at ease. I’m often reading, reflecting, or spending time by the beach — places that help me slow down and stay grounded.
These parts of my life matter to me because they keep me connected to what I also bring into my work: steadiness, perspective, and care.
Decades of academic preparation and clinical experience across multiple jurisdictions form the foundation of the care and education I provide.
